Description
Heated intake tube designed to enable users of the eDNA Citizen Scientist Sampler to filter eDNA samples in temperatures below freezing (0°C). The insulated intake tube replaces the standard intake tubing and includes a battery-powered heater that runs the length of the tube. This prevents ice from forming in the line and allows for water flow in cold ambient temperatures. Functional testing has confirmed operation from 0 to -20°C.
